Bigfork Quilts, Etc.
November 2015
Hello,
I just want to let you know about a few things
that are coming up in the next few weeks. We are participating in Make a
Difference Day on Sat. 10/24. From now until the end of Oct., bring in a pillowcase which will be donated to
Intermountain in Kalispell. This is a place that restores hope for children and
a very good cause. We will give you a free fat quarter for each pillowcase
brought in.
We will also have a sale starting 10/24 and
going through 10/29. Most product in the shop will be 20% off. The usual
exclusions (items already on sale and classes, etc.) will apply.
We will be closed for Thanksgiving. An update
on Holiday hours will be out in the next couple of weeks.
Be
Blessed,
Sandi & Staff
Bring
your own project and join us for a day of fun, productivity (if you choose) and
laughter. We can order lunch or bring your own. We will be closed for Thanksgiving.
*Sandi* 10 am- 4 pm $10.00
Come in
and join us. Work on your hand project and enjoy some great company. This is a
no machines allowed day.
Pam has made this 11 ½” x 29” runner which is a
great size for many of us. You can use templates or the Tri-recs rulers to
complete the project.
Looking
for something a little extra special for that appliqué project? Or
perhaps you just have a pile of colorful fabric that you're not quite sure what
to do with. Using the techniques from the book Simply Stunning
Woven Quilts by Anna Faustino, we'll explore how to create a beautiful
background by weaving two (or more fabrics) into one gorgeous work of
art! Bring your inner child and let's play.
*Melanie* 10 am – 4 pm $20.00
We will be working on the Fall, cornstalk,
quilt. These are very cute, quick-to-make wall hangings measuring 12”x 24”.
They use fusible applique, offer opportunity for embellishments and we have
kits available for $12.50 each month. Join the club and come in to pick up your
kit or stay and work. Melanie will be available for instruction as needed. The
benefit for joining the club is a 15% discount on purchases made on class day
whether it is related to class or not. The club fee is $20.00. (Usual class
discount is 10%).
Looking
Forward to:
The next couple of months
are full of craft fairs all over the valley. Check with the news media and we
have printouts in the shop with schedules and locations.
Thank you, Sandi.
