Be Blessed,

Sandi & Staff

Doesn’t that make life easier? We have 3 kits still available at $55.00 each and 1 set of foundation pieces if you would like to bring you own fabric. The kit includes the Quiltmaker magazine that features the quilt and pattern.

June 12 (12-5) &13 (10-5),  Bigfork Piecemakers Quilt guild show.

I want everyone to know that we are doing our best to have all of the supplies needed for our classes. We intend to have patterns, fusibles, rulers, threads, needles, etc. If you do not have something at home already, please give us a call to see if we have it available.
If you would like to schedule a private class or a small group class/sewing session, please call the shop and we will do our best to arrange it.

Thank you, Sandi.

May, 2015

Bigfork Quilts, Etc.

May 2015

Hello,

The big news for the shop is: WE ARE NOW OPEN MONDAYS again! For your shopping ‘needs’ we are open 10 am ‘til 4 pm, Monday through Saturday. We are open late on the second and fourth Thursdays. This is on Open Sew Day and that means extra time to work on a project.

I am still working on scheduling a couple of additional classes so I will be sending an extra e-mail this month to let you know the dates.

Sandi

Thursdays, May 7, 14*, 21 and 28*.    Open Sewing, 10am to 4 pm

*Open ‘til 6 pm on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays.

Bring your own project and join us for a day of fun, productivity (if you choose) and laughter. We can order lunch or bring your own.

Friday, May 8, Twisted Fibers

*Sandi* 10 am-4 pm, $10.00

We have our new patterns by Crane Designs and some of the ladies are using wool and others are using cottons. Each of them is very cute! As always, if you have a project you are working on, you are welcome to bring it! Just remember, no machines allowed today.

Saturday, May 9, Radiant Landscapes *Monique* 10 am- 4 pm $35.00

Monique will be using Gloria Loughman’s book, Radiant Landscapes, to teach this class. We will be learning to use ‘tiles’ to build a background that will enhance any art quilt technique and make your project truly one of a kind.

Saturday, May 30 Reversible Strippy Table Runner *Clara*

10 am – 4 pm  $35.00

This is a great table runner that uses 2 ½” strips. One Jelly roll/Bali Pop/etc. works great. Use the scraps for your binding or get 1/3 yard extra to bind it. Runner is 65” x 17” for those of us with long tables!

Looking Forward to:

Foundation paper piecing with Pam. Date to be determined.  This is a wonderful wall hanging. The pattern is in ‘Quiltmaker’ magazine, May/June issue. Pam’s technique uses a product that does not have to be torn away from the fabric. Here is a preview.

June 12 (12-5) &13 (10-5),  Bigfork Piecemakers Quilt guild show.
