Hello,

 I hope this finds all of you enjoying your summer. There is always plenty to do, visitors to enjoy, vacations to take and, hopefully, time to relax.

  The class schedule is light for this month. We will have a sale from July 28^th through Aug. 4^th, 15% off most items. Exclusions will include: kits for our Row By Row, wool, gift cards, fabric kits from Toni Whitney and Ladybug’s Cabin and items already on sale.

 There are many quilting events going on in our beautiful state this month and I hope you get a chance to enjoy some of them.

Sale****Sale****Sale

July 28^th through Aug. 4^th. Some exclusions apply.

Open Sewing, Thursdays, July 28, Aug. 4, 11, 18 and 25^th. We are now open until 5pm on Thursdays. $5.00 fee.
Come and join us for a fun day of quilting. Large tables are available for cutting, irons, ironing boards and knowledgeable staff and quilters to answer questions. There is always laughter and conversation. We can order lunch in or bring your own.

 

 Wed. Aug. 3, A Very Handy Caddy *Karri* 10am-4pm, $35.00

This is a cute, very handy organizer that Karri has developed. She uses hers for handwork projects. We will supply the ziplock bags for the center, you provide fabric and a few other supplies.

 

Tuesday, Aug. 12, Twisted Fibers *Sandi* 10 am–4 pm, $10.00

  This is a no machines allowed day. Our wool is in stock for the first 5 blocks for the Wooly Lady project. Feel free to bring your own project or participate in the current Heirloom Blooms block of the month by Wooly Lady.

 

Tuesday, Aug. 23, Lotus *Clara*

10 am-4 pm, $35.00
This is a Jaybird Quilts pattern and uses the Hex and More Ruler. You will be surprised at how easy the ruler is to use and how quickly this design goes together.

I want everyone to know that we are doing our best to have all of the supplies needed for our classes. We intend to have patterns, fusibles, rulers, threads, needles, etc. If you do not have something at home already, please give us a call to see if we have it available.

Hand Quilting Instruction Available

Mary Sanchez is available to provide hand quilting instruction for private or group lessons. Cost is $10.00 per hour. We can help you make arrangements with Mary to learn this time-honored skill.

Interested in a Class?

If you are interested in taking a class on a topic of your choice and that fits your schedule, please let us know and we will be happy to set one up that works for you.  We charge $10.00 per hour for individual instruction per person.
