Hello,
This is the month many of us celebrate the
special people in our lives. I thought about Valentine’s Day and the ways we make an effort to let those people know how we love and appreciate
them. I also thought about the ones around me who need a bit of encouragement.
I have a friend whose daughter is going through cancer treatments, another
friend who is shut-in and probably lonely, and…fill in the blanks. Maybe this
would be a good time to reach out to them too.
Quilters always seem to be very generous
people. It makes us happy when you come to the shop. We love to see the
projects you are working on and enjoy your visits.

conversation. We can order lunch in or bring your own.

Come, join the class and learn
an easy zig zag technique to make a traditional or modern quilt. This is a
great style to use in table toppers up to a king sized quilt.
Come in and join us. Work on
your hand project and enjoy some great company. Our new project should be
available. This is a no machines allowed day.

Since Easter is coming early
this year, we have the bunny with Easter eggs project for this month. I love
seeing your embellishment and quilting ideas. Kits for club members are $12.50.
This class is now full. If you
would like to be put on a wait-list, please call the shop. Monique would like
to know what photo you plan to work with so her creative mind can start playing
for those of you already signed up.
Clara would love to share with
you the easy method she is using to make drunkard’s path blocks. This is a
great technique to know as it can be used to make many different designs. There
are templates that will make you more successful. A free pattern is included with
the templates.
