Spicy Spiral Tablerunner Class Samples. . .

I am busy working on July's class schedule.  I thought I'd give you a sneak peak of one of the new classes.

This is the Spicy Spiral Table Runner by Patty Latourell made by Clara Clark, an instructor at Bigfork Quilts, Etc., with the 10 degree wedge ruler.  Clara has made many wedge ruler quilts and taught classes on how to use it.  She will be teaching this class Saturday, July 21.

And here is another rendition by Clara. This unique shape is very eye-catching and lends itself to many fabric choices. I'm excited about this new class and will be sure to post class photos.

Bigfork Quilts, Etc. is Open!!!

Hooray!  Today’s the day, the opening of Bigfork Quilts, Etc. (Actually yesterday but had internet issues.)

 

Quilts and product are hung.

The classroom is ready.

The shelves are stocked with fabric (well, sort of).  There is more to come. 

And here is the most important addition to the shop:  a gift from my friends.  Words simply cannot express the importance of my quilting circle of friends.  While I have considered having a quilt shop for several years, it was the culmination of the right time, right place, and right FRIENDS that has let it happen.  Everyone in this world should be lucky enough to share the company of the type of people I have found quilters to be.  They are warm, loving people willing to share who they are with others.  This new adventure is just one more experience that has been supported with the loving hands of these wonderful women.  And a HUGE hug and many kisses for my husband for his support too.
