Table Topper Club Celebrates Easter. . .

February is almost over and Easter is just around the corner.  What better way to prepare than to make an Easter table runner in our Table Topper Club which meets this upcoming Saturday, March 2.

This runner is from the book "My Runners" that we used for last month's table runner.

The eggs hang from string made with a decorative stitch.  However, feel free to bring trim like ribbon or rickrack to add your own touch of whimsy to the project.

If you haven't joined this Club, you are missing out on the fun and the product discounts.  For a $10 membership fee, there are three hours of instruction for each month's project, 25% off class supplies, and $7/yd for fabric.  Additionally, on the day of class, the same discounts apply for ALL product purchased, not just those related to class.  Some exceptions do apply.  This Club lasts through the end of 2013 so you may join at any time.

Some new fabrics have recently arrived, just in time for that baby quilt or child's birthday present you want to make.  Remember, it's just $8/yd.  We have also added a few batting products to the shop.  We have two 100% cotton battings available.  One is a 45" width for runners, baby quilts, and other small projects.  The other is also 100% cotton at 90" wide.  We also have fusible fleece for tote, purse, and craft projects.  We are adding new items weekly so please come by, check them out, and say "Hi."

It's time, once again, to post our month of classes.  As a teacher, I am always excited to instruct students on new techniques.  But as a quilter, I am also always interested in taking as many classes as I can.   So the one thing you can be sure of with our classes is that I'm excited by them or they wouldn't be scheduled.

For those of you who are not close to our shop location, we will try our best to list class kits and instructions on our shop site for purchase.

New Extended Shop Hours. . .

As we continue to be supported by our local quilting community, 

 and our classes continue to build,

 we find that we need to be open more.  Therefore, effective today we are extending our hours to 10am-4pm Tuesday through Saturday.  We will be open on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays until 8pm.  Thursday, 2/14, is an exception.  

As it is Valentine's Day we will close at 4pm so we can spend time with our loved ones.  We will, however, be open this coming Thursday, 2/7, until 8pm.  Please stop by and see what's happening.  Our February class schedule will be posted soon.
